Take a Virtual Tour of the Centre

Dale Fort is about as close to the sea as you can get with a short walk down to the rocky coastline. You can enjoy spectacular sea views from high points of the Centre. With indoor common rooms and a bar to relax in this location is a great base for families to explore Pembrokeshire, Wales. It also has its own boat for trips for getting out onto the water.

We have simple, comfortable accommodation mostly in a mixture of twin/3-bedded rooms and dormitory style rooms. Toilet and shower facilities are close by. Dale Fort has a quiet lounge for visiting adults equipped with a TV, DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a common room for children with pool table, board games, TV and DVD player, and area for making hot and cold drinks.

There is a field for football, rugby, rounders, etc. Sports equipment is available from the office. A lawn and decked area has been created for relaxation on the top of the headland for impressive views across Pembrokeshire and the Milford Haven waterway. Between the fields are an Iron Age Fort and the site of an ancient village, over 2000 years old. For many visitors just living in a 150 year old historic Fortress is exciting, with gun emplacements like the 1890s Zalinski Pneumatic Dynamite Gun, one of the biggest guns ever built.
