Mammal Trapping

Mammal trapping gives you the opportunity for a close encounter with some of Margam’s smaller residents. We try our luck setting humane traps in the evening then return first thing to see what we have caught! Please Note: sessions will run at 5.30pm (for those needing early nights) and again at 7pm. To continue exploring, we suggest... Forest Fawr, near Caerphilly where sculptures tell a story of a giant creature living in the woods. Although the creature is never seen, the sculptures give clues for children to use their imagination to create and share their own story. Follow the trail on foot, or bike; you can even extend your day to include Castell Coch, a fairytale inspired Victorian folly.
